Thixotropes lamp has displayed at Design Museum as part of Designs of The Year 2012. This lamp is designed by Conny Freyer for Troika. Troika is a London based studio founded by Eva Rucki, Conny Freyer and Sebastien Noel. Thixotropes lamp consist of a series of eight illuminated mechanized structures, each have form with a composition of intersecting angular and geometric shapes that are made of thin tensed steel. The constructions continuously revolve around their own axis thereby materializing the path of the light. [Via]
