Guz architects have finalized the Fish House in Singapore. The beach house summarizes the essence of life in hot and humid climate of Singapore by making open spaces that encourage natural ventilation and propose outlook of residents into the sea.
The major concept of design is to make a home that has a close relationship with nature and this is attained by having a swimming-pool that connects the house with the landscape and visual connections with the sea eventually. The idea of connection is strengthened by having a basement-level media room with u-shaped acrylic windows that allow natural light in and also spread the view to the pool. [Via]
