André Klauser and Ed Carpenter have designed Covent Garden Club chair for the design and production company, Very Good & Proper. The CG Club chair is made because of commissioned by Canteen for their restaurant in residence inside London’s Covent Garden Market. The CG Club chair combines the practicality of a dining chair with the comfort of a club chair. This chair is designed with the contract market in mind, as a fine dining chair, a comfortable side chair, a conference table or as an overstuffed chair in the room that does not allow for full size armchair. The chair is constructed from a fully upholstered flexible shell and cushioned webbed seat. The generously proportioned shell with its fluid form is cupped by a very sturdy tubular frame. The chair’s metal frame can be finished in various colors. The Covent Garden Club chair was developed with Kvadrat’s Steel Cut and Steel Cut Trio. [Via]
