Sebastian Herknerwill launch the Coat armchair with Italian brand, Moroso at Salone del Mobile in Milan 2012. The Coat armchair is the results of the first collaboration with Moroso. The Coat is an armchair without feet, a fusion of decoration and function. This chair is made using the same technique for printing the hosiery, non slip faded decoration has been printed on the fabric which guarantees perfect stability on the floor, yet at the same time with a low weight for easy moving. The structure was enveloped with cover that can be separate, removable, and soft, like a blanket thrown up the chair. [Via]

Sebastian Herkner will launch a Bell table, its first collaboration with ClassiCon at the Milan Salone del Mobile in April 2012. A Bell table is made using the lightweight material, fragile material of glass as the basis for the metal that looks to float above it. Hand-blown in the traditional way using a wooden mold, the transparent tinted glass base asserts a statue presence in space, contrasting curiously with the solid brass frame on top also forming a harmonious unit that recalling the curving silhouette of a bell. With its appealing reflective surfaces and contrasting materials, a side table adds a special touch to domestic interiors. It celebrates the beauty of the materials with their colors and surfaces, along with the virtues of hand-craftsmanship. A Bell table is a masterwork of traditional hand craftsmanship. Each table is created by hand meaning that small bubbles or bumps in the glass happen, but this is desirable characteristics that marking each into a unique piece. [Via]

Tauber collection is designed by Sebastian Herkner, will be launched by Pulpo at imm Cologne and Maison & Objet in Paris in January 2012. The idea behind the design of Tauber collection is based on dealing with conventional coverings of ventilation shafts. The distinctive character of the surface, cover and metal structure has not been complete from the design and construction. The diagonal bends of the brass plate are substantial for the stability as well as the pattern. The collection consists of the cabinet, the bench and the containers. The Tauber cabinet is a symbiosis between a bench and a sideboard. [Via]
