Perianth Interior Design is a product of Hilary Unger passion for design. He has decorated the plain white kitchen interior of an apartment on the west side of a plain white house. The client wanted to build a kitchen that they have eat-in area, the main requirement is to make the kosher kitchen.
In the beginning the kitchen has been divided into ‘dairy’ and ‘meat’ sections. She took this space down to the studs and did full renovation and make everything custom for the clients, not wasting an inch of space.
The kitchen have two dishwashers, the full-size dishwasher is located to the right of the sink and is used for ‘dairy’ dishes. The second ‘meat’ dishwasher is a Fisher Paykel dishwasher drawer and is located just below the warming drawer to the right of the full-size dishwasher, close to the door. The space has also been loaded with two silverware areas, a huge sub-zero unit, warming drawer, and pantry that are all done with the Sabbath in mind.
Eat-in area was added and French doors between the dining room and kitchen were place in. Since everything has a cabinetry faced facade, the compounding of the extra equipment and drawers feel seem less and keeps things low-key. It shows like a comfortable place to set up and eat a meal, but with these ordinary additions and new take on the floor plan, it can keep all the specific requirements for this family.
