B&B Italia has presenting Theo armchair at The International Furniture Fair 2012 inMilan, Italia. Theo designed by Vincent Van Duysen is a chair that suspended, floating contrasts with its base. It is supported by a steel frame (glossy chrome-plated, black chrome plated or painted bronzed nickel) whose finishes can be coordinated with covers, available in leather enriched with tailored details, single color fabric or bicolor color fabric for the structure and the back cushion. Designer Matthew Hilton has created Lucas armchair and sofa for SCP. The Lucas armchair and sofa expertly embed a traditional design typology with modern aesthetics. The design combines clean lines with smooth barriers curves to make a piece of furniture that is comfortable and completely proportioned. Ingenious details such as the taper and flare of the turned oak legs and the slight protrusion of the seat cushion give serenity. The armchair is handmade in our Norfolk factory with an FSC approved beech frame, jute webbing and hessian straps.

The sofa is made with an FSC approved beech frame, jute webbing and hessian strap. The armchair and sofa are covered with a mixture of ingredients that include natural fibers, animal hair and wool. Both are made in the England. [Via]

The designer Giuseppe Viganò has created Bustier armchair for Italian company, Saba. This chair is very elegant and have a wiggly shapes, reminds us of the wrapping corsets that imposed by ladies at XVII century. The Bustier armchair is composed of a rigid steel body hugging a big pillow made of feather. Italian designer Francesco Rota has created Ami seating furniture including sofas, armchairs, and little armchairs for indoor environments. He’s work for Italian company Paola Lenti. Ami seating furniture is unique for their appearance and functionalities, because unique are the production and creative processes from which they originate. The structure are created of steel, the parts seen are in stainless steel AISI 304 with a satin finish. The upholstery is made with chain, a tubular knit straight hand woven onto the structure. Cushions and pillows can be upholstered with a range of coordinated fabrics and colors. [Via]
