Giulio Iacchetti has designed a unique armchair, a Stripe -Tease, for Meritalia. This armchair is art creation combines design world with pure imagination, freedom, color, and irrationality. The Stripe-Tease armchair is the protagonist of a double interpretation; in one hand it dressed with a colorful shape, created of ribbons, spread with disorder, supple and matted overall the floor. On the other hand an elegant weaving black and white stretches to the walls and the ceiling in a perfect harmony. It projects the outline of the armchairs in all lines. This installation proposed the vision of a space organized by straight lines, it refers to the Mondrian’s painting and recommends a flavor vaguely cubist. [Via]
