KINZO a young German design firm is asked to make the design for extraordinary furniture pieces on the conference floor. It’s has made a boardroom conference table for the Ernst & Young’s Berlin office. This table looks to turn appearance from every angle you look at it: Depending on your perspective, it might impress you of a starship, the rays of the sea or a hydrofoil. Especially the asymmetrical lines enable the optimal use of space and gives significantly to the mood of inspiration in the meeting.
Begin from a “heavyweight” chairman, the table looked to get lighter and airier in connection with the opposing panoramic windows – take fun in the statics that makes vibration which is very dynamic: the conference table impress you of a rocket that is just about to take off – and splinter directly through the glass front. Four flush-mounted “media tank” swallow the unsightly cables and supplies power and network access for laptops and other devices. [Via]
