Module.MGX is a modular table system that was inspired by a previous collaboration between WertelOberfell with Matthias Bär and their creation: Fractal.MGX that takes its design cues from tree roots. With further study into patterns of tree growth and fractal other patterns and systems that occur in nature, Module.MGX focuses on increasing ties between our environment and our modern life. With the steep sloping walls and hollow structure, Module.MGX minimizes waste and save energy during the production process. And because of the size and shape, the table can be used alone or with an infinite number of smooth placed side by side, adjust with the changing needs of our lives today.
