Designer Matthew Hilton has created Lucas armchair and sofa for SCP. The Lucas armchair and sofa expertly embed a traditional design typology with modern aesthetics. The design combines clean lines with smooth barriers curves to make a piece of furniture that is comfortable and completely proportioned. Ingenious details such as the taper and flare of the turned oak legs and the slight protrusion of the seat cushion give serenity. The armchair is handmade in our Norfolk factory with an FSC approved beech frame, jute webbing and hessian straps.
The sofa is made with an FSC approved beech frame, jute webbing and hessian strap. The armchair and sofa are covered with a mixture of ingredients that include natural fibers, animal hair and wool. Both are made in the England. [Via]
