In Paris Design Week, mmcité shown the new exterior furniture called Urban Islands. This furniture designed by Paris designer Lucie Koldová and Dan Yeffet, has been presented in one of Paris’s most prestigious galleries which specializes in the design, famous Gallery S. Bensimon. Urban Islands stand for a flexible and playful system of urban furniture. With easy shapes based on the simple geometry of ovals, and three levels of horizontal surfaces give a new look to seating in public space. Modules can either stand alone or be linked in a playful group of ‘islands’. The colorful furniture has many different shapes with leveled wooden surfaces make another atmosphere in our urban landscape. [Via]
