Designer Luca Nichetto has designed Bistrot for Casamania. Bistrot is a set of coffee tables, as its name, it taken from small bistro and brasserie tables that found along Parisian cafes. The major concept behind the typology of Bistrot is to pair a small base, which leaves room for people to move around it, with a tabletop large enough to contain more than just drinks. The Bistrot is created with a conical in base, as a response for the need of a center of gravity that capable of supporting the table’s rather large surface. Lepel chair has obtained award with the label Interior Innovation Award – Winner 2013, an award organized by the German Design Council. The project arises from the desire of designer Luca Nichetto to collaborate with Casamania to make an effective product from different points of view. Lepel is a collection of soft seat, fully upholstered or leather. Skills and abilities of customize the finishing of the fabric used, the stitching on the view, make this chair is unique of its kind. The rationalization of space and of the production process is evident, in the strategic decision to maintain two molds for the backrest and the rear legs for the two chair and armchair versions and a single mold for the seat and the front legs. The French furniture brand, La Chance has launched Float table at MOST during Salone del Mobile 2012. The Float is a large low table with a conical shape that looks like floating on a stretch of water. The designer Luca Nichetto intend that behind this project was to make a functional object exploring in details the metal leaf turnery technology. Thanks to this technology it’s possible to make circular volumes in various dimensions that are typically used for aircraft components. A Float table has a very simple form that allow you play with the shades of lights between the cone’s intense color and the reflective steel base make it a scenographic object and worthwhile furniture for the living room.
