
You already have a party and your trash regular collection is abundant and the captured still a few more days. Imagine being able to make and have your garbage is collected at a time that suits you. It’s happen for the 100 households in Peccioli, Italy’s. They are part of two months DustCart experiment, a robot that serves on-demand service garbage collection – just make a call and DustCart will soon come at your door to pick up your trash.

DustCart has three levels of intelligent control. First there are the self-supporting, built-in systems including motion sensing, obstacle avoidance and user-interface functions including speech confession. Then there is the ambient intelligent environment which observes the robot, sends it instructions and navigates it through the streets. Finally, a human control center monitors operations, but only intervenes in an emergency or when the technology unsuccessful. [Via]
