David Trubridge has designed building minimal structure “ Dream Space”, displayed at Milan Launch Event 12-17 April 2011. This building uses wood only 5mm thick, and the whole series will be loading in the suitcase, but it produces a remarkably strong and stable structure. “Dream Space” is intended as a gazebo and will be developed by covering this building with waterproof material . The dome is built in six sections which can simplify for transport. A timber floor made from the same material can also be supplied, and a fabric cover is under development. [Via]
Designer David Trubridge has created traditional sofa Sunrise. Sunrise is large sofa that can accommodate the whole family to play a fireplace games or watch a movie together. This sofa is amazingly comfortable, the deepest section possible for an outstretched position with the legs fully supported, whilst the narrower section allows in a more upright position with your legs on the floor. Seats can be removed from the back for easy shipping and moving. Upholstery of the sofa is plywood frame. [Via]
