Throughout the last half century, the villages along the coastal mountains of Greece in Cyclades Athens has been defined by the typology of multi-storey buildings with identical floor size, a narrow balcony of each unit, and a penthouse is hidden to provide greater veranada. In contrast, the commercial area in the district to be defined by a practice known as “antiparochi” – the owner will transfer the plot to the contractor in return for the desired number of units – and produce a mosaic of styles and construction (“urban cube”) as the changing provisions of the Building Code constantly altered the height allowed and how to calculate the area of the building.

For their latest apartment, the KLab has created a place to live in Pagkrati that takes the attributes of an urban village and manifest the characteristics of a vertical manner to the city.

‘Urban Cubes’ by the KLab Architects is an apartment with beautiful building structure. Urban Cubes is situated in densely populated areas in Athens, Greece and located in a residential neighborhood. Urban Cubes is set on hilly and sloping terrain, and with the building code that continues to grow. Storey residence has a different unit that juts out of the building, which allows each house to get enough sunlight and fresh air.

The building reflects the high standard of living. To meet the different expectations of some users, the building has a variety of floor plans and different layouts through the use of the “boxes/cubes” so as to provide visual appearance of sculptural that interact with the city in a new way.

Structure of building is halved and joined with the central circulation core, put two units on each level, making for a total of 14 bright and open apartments.
