Mashallah Design Studio in Berlin is already collaborating with a master of ceramic from Barcelona, Xavier Manosa to designing the Pleat Box for Marset. Pleat Box is a ceiling lamp, available in 4 sizes: diameter 47cm, 36cm, 24cm & 13cm. The idea behind the Pleat Box is taken that of a sophisticated combination between a digitally crease that designed from a piece of cloth, the silhouette result applied to a ceramic base. The outer part of the lamp is offered in white ceramic, under glazed red clay and grey the result of recycling different enamels. The brilliant white enamel interior makes a glitter effect, which increase the light from the lamp. It can also be given in gold on the inside, which produces a very warm light. [Via]
