Mexican designer, Jorge Diego Etienne has created Sultanas table. Sultana is a set of table that built with concrete and glass, which reflect the identity of the industrial city of Monterrey in northern Mexico and rethink the work of contemporary folk. Using the “Industrial Craftsmanship” of local workshops, sultanas have a monolithic structure that plays with the perception of the material and its possibilities, making two dynamic forms that come together to make the concrete base of a table.
