Ineke Hans Studio has designed modern reading chair named Smallroom for Sweden furniture manufacturer, Offecct. Smalroom is sofa that offers the building blocks for making a room within a room. The back of the sofa with a high wall can be functioning as a protection when one is seated and makes the impression of a smaller room. Smallroom is made from cold foam wrapped with flameproof fiber. Frame made in wood, fixed upholstery in fabric or leather, and legs made from chrome. The arms of Smallroom can give different functions in different settings:
- simple in upholstered for support.
- as a work arm for writing or laptops (optional with electricity).
- equiped with container as storage for books and magazines; or save plants for making green environments. [Via]
