Office Interior by Pascal Arquitectos
This project was designed by Pascal Arquitectos in Mexico City, for the office of a company that develops shopping centers. Initial concept was build upon the idea of making a functional space of modern character. Design objective is to make through the language and environment, an architecture that came out with the basic assumption of office as an institutional second home where he lived most of the time.
It making a balanced composition of colours and textures, together combination of modern and warm and also managed mixture of natural materials like marble and wood, in contrast colourr tempered glass, stainless steel and iron.
The white Calacata steel plates black patina make an effect rather contradictory. The elevator in the lobby contrast between a marble. This entrance guides to the reception hall which turn to an elegant and warm tones through enlightenment. For this area was used Rosso Levanto marble, wood trimmings and a black glass parrot that floats giving a liquid crystal display that appears and disappears temporarily.
From this zone get into the corridor connecting to other areas that make up the set in which managing different levels with different materials that hide indirect lighting.
Operational area consists of a large room with a workstation. Throughout this space is placed a mural based on company turnover and carpet floor for acoustic damping. He also has cancelería glass allows light to enter through the private sector.
At the end of the reception hall is located executive secretary area, which is covered by a glass door etched with geometric shapes, decorated with paintings and engravings Piranessi Jose Villalobos. This part consists of two executive offices, conference rooms and space, all with contemporary furnishings, decorative wood and panels combined with a plaster ceiling through good fats are hidden in which injections of air conditioning. The velvet curtain complements the residential environment and giving a touch of elegance.
In the meeting room is handled with the same materials and panels with direct and indirect light through the plate onyx.
Finally it should be noted that the office has no public space: a lounge bar which provides an opportunity to speak informally and meeting in a bar that contains a metal with marble slabs Arabescato.
