German designer Valentin Loellmann has created many pieces furniture called m.&mme collection consist of drawer, stool, and cabinet. Each piece is unique and they are usually created from old bankirai wood strengthened with a polyester skin. M.&mme explores the concepts of cognation and heredity between objects. M.&mme is a long term project to run for several years, giving expression to the organic growth of narrative that run as a red thread through this collection. Although pieces might travel and their form might alter as new pieces are added from time to time, in parallel to the designers’ own life, marked and shaped by personal, social and sentimental experiences.
