Karim Rashid has designed Hotdog sofa for Domodinamica. The name Hotdog first show up from the proportion of long round layers from the front display, but the name may also suggest the slang interpretation of the word meaning a risk taker or one that boast. The concept originated from the idea of a sofa with different layer of cushions with one layer that was split and swung out to make armrests made it work both for two or three people. The sofa form is interesting, fun, comfortable and dynamic. [Via]
