Gilliam is an ancient armchair that back to the Nordic design of the 50’s and 60’s. This armchair has designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Minotti. The Gilliam armchair brings us to mind of the design originating at that time, but still popular today. The best expression of design is comfort and technology, packed in an object that conveys understatement but that emits a strong identity. Two cold foamed shells for the back rest and seating, padding that softens the back rest and a down cushion creates the armchair more comfortable, a construction approach with aesthetics function. The back rest and seat are joined and are supported by a curved wood base that traces a sinuous line, highlighted by changing thicknesses and an elegant semi glossy lacquered moka finish.
