The tables are made from particularly bounded, die cut profiles forming a solid inanimate block. By forming a concertina, the table folds to form a solid matrix that is six times its original volume. The sweeping interior of the tables is informed by the contours of brass instruments, this presents an otherwise two dimensional material an unexpected and beautifully fluid three dimensional form.
