Norwegian designer Caroline Olsson has created a Bambi table. Bambi can be used at two different levels, as a coffee table or a small dining table. Bambi is made inspired by the anatomy of the knee, in which bone can bend only one way. The location and angle of table legs is as well as the meeting points of the joints, helping to keep the table upright and stable. When a table is folded down and used at the lower level it can provide you imagery to a small foal that has crooked its legs and laid down to rest in the grassland. Bambi table is made from birch and spray painted steel. Dimensions of a Bambi table: height dining table: 74 cm, height coffee table: 45 cm. [Via]
