Studio Klass has collaborating with Fontana Arte, the famous lighting company, to made the Odeon lamp and shown at Euroluce 2013. Odeon is a floor lamp entirely covered in cuoietto leather, designed to casts its light to the wall and smooth the contrast between digital and a completely dark room, so that making a comfy and warm glow of refracted light. Available in various colors: orange with black stitching, white with blue stitching, cognac with rope stitching and dark brown with brown stitching. Its handle enables people to place the lamp anywhere: in a room, next to a sofa or near the wall. [Via]

Norway furniture manufacturer, Fjordfiesta are happy to introduce the new Alto Desk designed by Andreas Engesvik. It went into production the following year – and was manufactured by David Design (Sweden) until 2009. Fjordfiesta Furniture launched a new version of Alto at the Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2013. The new version has a redesigned base in solid wood and the table top has been slightly modified. New alto is elegant desk and light in oak veneer table top. [Via]

Fontana Arte has shown the Blom lamp at Euroluce 2013. Blom is table lamp and direct light, designed by Andreas Engesvik. Blom is inspired by the shifting light and seasonal changes of the Nordic countries. It is rooted in the Scandinavian attitude of practicality and versatility. Its familiar appearance and neat size makes it accessible and easy adapt in variety spatial situations. Diffuser in milk white opaline polyethylene, petals in polycarbonate, base in painted aluminum. Diffused light emission adjusted by moving the petals. Available in 4 colors: ruby red, silk grey, pale green and yellow. The switch of lamp is on transparent cable. [Via]

Designed in 1954 by Gastone Rinaldi with the name of DU 55 P is now re-released by Poltrona Frau. The style icon has retained the power of its designer’s successful intuition over time, a universal design and, at the same time, the expression of a precise cultural breeding ground. Letizia chair has sensual and soft lines, welcoming and comfortable. The backrest acquires new elasticity. The support is thin and sleek, suitable perfectly with the shell. Steel structure is made with molded polyurethane foam padding. Also it has elastic belts for the springs of the seat and the backrest. [Via]

Gemla, the Swedish bentwood factory has launched Bow chair at Stockholm Furniture Fair in February 2013. Bow chair was designed by Lisa Hilland is very graceful chair with details of bronze and natural tanned leather. The idea behind design of the Bow chair is to make an elegant stackable bent wood chair with as few components, two arches held together by a bronze fitting. It is named Bow chair because the purpose has been to make ‘a lot from a little’ in terms of both function and aestetics. [Via]

The young Argentinian designer, Nicolas Calandri has awarded as the winner in the third edition of the Infiniti Design De-contest 2013. Turtle by Nicolas Calandri is a project that fully answers to the demands of the contemporary way of living. This folding chair conceived in polipropilene, characterizes not only for its organic formal aspect, but also for the fresh and juvenile image, almost irreverent, that makes it an unique model. To differentiate this chair from the greatest part of the flexible chairs is the enveloping round one-piece shell that, combined to functionality and ergonomics, makes Turtle a different folding chair, in accordance to the even more reduced and dynamic living spaces. Design Studio IL HOON ROH will shown the hand crafted ‘Rami Side Table’ to the public for the first time at the Salone Satellite 2013. Rami side table is made from hand-woven carbon fiber with straps 1.2 km (approximately one mile) long was weaved into a three-dimensional form by hand. The resulting shape is not determined in advance but allowed to be produced into final form. The designer also demonstrated full potential of carbon fiber by making a design that is several times stronger than steel yet weighs less than 1 kg and can be lifted with a finger. Rami series is highly customizable and can be manufactured into various types of furniture including chairs, benches, console tables, and side tables with different metal surfaces. [Via]
